The cast of the enduring medical comedy "Scrubs" recently came together for a special PaleyFest event in Los Angeles. Stars Zach Braff, Donald Faison, Sarah Chalke, Judy Reyes, and John C. McGinley were present at the Dolby Theatre for a screening and Q&A session.
This reunion celebrated the recently revived series, which is now in its tenth season on ABC. The cast discussed the show's lasting impact, with Zach Braff emphasizing its themes of friendship and community. "It's a show about friendship and community and I think people really respond to that," Braff stated.
Sarah Chalke shared how meaningful the show's connection to real-life medical professionals has been. "The funnest thing for all of us was hearing from doctors who would write to us and say, 'Oh my gosh, the show got us through medical school, or got us through really hard times,'" she recalled. Judy Reyes noted the growing reception for the series.
New episodes of "Scrubs" are currently airing on Wednesdays at 8/7c on ABC. The series also streams the following day on Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
