The Scream franchise, known for its whodunit slasher approach, has released a definitive ranking of all Ghostface killers, updating its list to include Scream 7. The recent installment's killers, Marco, Karl Gibbs, and Jessica Bowden, are placed at the bottom, criticized for being non-entities, having muddled motivations, and anticlimactic reveals. Marco is singled out for being a complete nonentity, while Jessica's motivation regarding Neve Campbell's absence is deemed nonsensical.

Conversely, Jill Roberts from Scream 4 claims the top spot. Her motive of seeking fame and resentment towards her famous cousin, Sidney, provided a chilling commentary on self-obsession. Emma Roberts's performance is highlighted as electric, channeling her character's anger effectively.
