The trailer for Scream 7 has officially dropped, signaling the imminent return of Ghostface and the iconic final girl, Sidney Prescott. This installment marks a significant moment as Sidney, now a mother to Tatum, must once again confront the brutal killer. The film will also feature the return of Courteney Cox as reporter Gale Weathers, who is ready to unmask the killer.
Kevin Williamson, the visionary behind the original Scream, is directing this seventh installment, focusing on Sidney's journey as a mother. However, stars Melissa Barrera and Jenna Ortega, prominent in the recent revival films, will be absent. Barrera was removed due to her social media commentary, and Ortega departed voluntarily.
Adding to the legacy cast, David Arquette returns as Dewey Riley, alongside Matthew Lillard as Stu Macher and Scott Foley as Roman Bridger. Siblings Chad and Mindy also reprise their roles. Notably, this will be the first Scream film to be screened in IMAX.
