Popular unscripted series are set to return to The CW with new seasons. The network has officially renewed "Scrabble" and "Trivial Pursuit" for their third seasons, featuring updated one-hour episodes. Additionally, "Police 24/7" has been confirmed for a fourth season.
These renewals stem from remarkable ratings performance. The shows are ranked among The CW's top five entertainment programs for the 2025-26 season. Since their respective debuts, they have collectively reached an audience of over 31.4 million viewers, according to Nielsen statistics. Furthermore, all three series have achieved significant syndication clearances, now available in more than 85% of U.S. households.
"Scrabble," hosted by Emmy winner Craig Ferguson, challenges contestants with word-based games for points on a large central board. The series is a collaborative effort involving Hasbro Entertainment, The CW, Mattel Television Studios, and Lionsgate Alternative Television.
LeVar Burton hosts "Trivial Pursuit," a game show testing contestants' knowledge across various categories. Hasbro Entertainment, The CW, Lionsgate Alternative Television, and Talpa Studios are credited as producers.
"Police 24/7," executive produced by SallyAnn Salsano, offers a behind-the-scenes look at officers responding to emergencies and investigating crimes. The second seasons of "Trivial Pursuit" and "Scrabble" are airing this fall, with new episodes premiering on Thursday, October 1. Specific premiere dates for the new seasons will be announced later.
