This gesture comes amid the couple's ongoing divorce proceedings, which began when Kelley announced their separation in June.

Scott filed for divorce shortly after Kelley's announcement. The situation has seen further complications, including Kelley being placed on a 5150 hold, Scott filing a restraining order against her, and her subsequent arrest on misdemeanor charges related to electronic communications harassment. Kelley was also mandated to a 60-day involuntary psychiatric hold.

Despite the legal and personal turmoil, Scott has continued to acknowledge Kelley, even sending birthday wishes on her 49th birthday in October.
