Scott Speedman Teases Underworld Revival

Scott Speedman, known for his role as Michael Corvin in the Underworld film series, has expressed a strong desire to revisit the character. It has been 20 years since his last appearance as the hybrid vampire-werewolf, and Speedman feels that the character's narrative potential was not fully realized in the franchise.

Speaking about his reflections on the 2006 film 'Underworld: Evolution,' Speedman noted that he and series co-creator Len Wiseman, a close friend, frequently discuss possibilities. Speedman stated his keen interest in exploring what Michael Corvin might be doing now, indicating a willingness to return for a new movie or television project.

Despite critical reviews, the Underworld films garnered a dedicated fanbase and box office success. While co-star Kate Beckinsale has expressed disinterest in returning, Speedman remains enthusiastic about the character. Currently, Speedman is engaged with his ABC series 'R.J. Decker,' which returns for its second season on September 15, and his recurring role in 'Grey's Anatomy,' entering its twenty-third season on October 15.
