Universal Studios Hollywood is set to launch an exciting new attraction featuring Scooby-Doo and the beloved Mystery, Inc. gang. Titled "Scooby-Doo Meets The Universal Monsters: Mystery on the Backlot," this immersive experience will debut exclusively during Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026.
The attraction begins as guests board the studio's iconic trams, cast as extras in a monster movie. When "real" Universal Monsters appear, guests disembark for an interactive walk-through adventure on the historic backlot. Utilizing a "Mystery Manual," visitors will assist Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and friends in confronting classic monsters like Frankenstein's Monster and Dracula.
This unique event is a highlight of Universal Fan Fest Nights 2026, scheduled for select nights from April 23 to May 16, 2026. While Scooby-Doo has appeared in Universal parks before, this marks his first starring attraction. Ticket prices for the after-hours event start at $74, offering fans an unforgettable blend of mystery and classic horror.
