School of Rock Stars: Where Are They Now?

The stars of "School of Rock" have continued to shine brightly in various fields since the film's 2003 release. Jack Black, who portrayed Dewey Finn, remains a prominent figure in both music and film, actively performing with his band Tenacious D and taking on diverse acting roles. He recently hosted Saturday Night Live for the first time in two decades.

Joan Cusack, who played Principal Mullins, stepped back from the spotlight to raise her two children in Chicago, though she continued to lend her voice to animated projects and earned multiple Emmy nominations for "Shameless."

Many of the child actors have also forged successful careers. Miranda Cosgrove starred in "iCarly" and continues to voice Margo in the "Despicable Me" franchise. Caitlin Hale and Angelo Massagli, who met on set, are now married and have transitioned into careers in real estate and law, respectively.

Tragically, Kevin Clark, who played drummer Freddy Jones, passed away in May 2021 at the age of 32 after being involved in a fatal bike accident in Chicago. His former castmates remembered him fondly, highlighting his spirit and kindness.
