In a move that is set to reshape the visual effects industry, Scanline VFX and Eyeline Studios have announced their merger under a single brand. The combined entity, which will operate under the Scanline VFX name, is poised to pioneer new tools and technologies that will drive the future of filmmaking.

Scanline VFX, a 36-year-old company, has earned a Scientific and Technical Academy Award for its proprietary fluid simulation software, Flowline. The company has contributed to the success of global hits such as "Stranger Things," "Wednesday," "Avatar: The Last Airbender," and "Godzilla x Kong: A New Empire." Just last month, Scanline won an Emmy for Outstanding Special Visual Effects in a Season or Movie for Disney+'s "Andor Season 2."

Eyeline Studios, founded in 2019, has also made significant strides in the industry, pioneering the use of virtual production and volumetric capture. The company's stage technology, which recently showcased its work in the creation of Professor Orloff in "Wednesday Season 2," earned the Visual Effects Society's inaugural Groundbreaking Technology Award.
