The 2025 SCAD Savannah Film Festival, taking place from October 25 to November 1, has announced an exceptionally robust lineup that solidifies the Georgia festival's status as a key awards season stop. Opening with David Freyne's "Eternity," the festival will feature Craig Brewer's "Song Sung Blue" as the Centerpiece Gala and close with Rian Johnson's "Wake Up Dead Man: A Knives Out Mystery."
In addition to these high-profile screenings, the 28th edition of the festival will showcase a diverse array of Oscar contenders, including films from directors like Yorgos Lanthimos, Guillermo del Toro, and Chloé Zhao. The festival will also honor several notable industry figures, such as Rose Byrne, Tessa Thompson, Oscar Isaac, and Jennifer Lopez.
