Satyajeet Dubey's Gut Feeling Led to 'Simulacra'

Satyajeet Dubey has shared that his involvement in the upcoming sci-fi film 'Simulacra' was a decision rooted in instinct. He explained that meeting director Pankaj Sawant and experiencing his detailed narration, complete with visual references, sparked a creative impulse. Although the narrative wasn't immediately clear, Sawant's eagerness to tell the story and the world he was constructing resonated deeply with Dubey.

The actor described his commitment to 'Simulacra' as an act of artistic faith, stating it was purely a gut feeling and not a logical choice. He has since dedicated his full effort as an actor and collaborator to the project. Produced by Shrikant Kadam, Pravin Pingat, and Pankaj Sawant, 'Simulacra' is slated for release on July 17 on Waves OTT.

As the film's release approaches, Dubey expressed his anticipation for the audience's response. He acknowledged that objectivity fades as a creator and that audience reception ultimately determines a film's connection. He is keen to observe how viewers experience 'Simulacra' and the discussions it initiates.
