Satish Kaushik's Hidden Hand in 'Dhurandhar The Revenge'

The highly anticipated film 'Dhurandhar The Revenge' premiered yesterday, creating a significant buzz at the box office. It has come to light that the late Satish Kaushik possessed the title rights for the 'Dhurandhar' film series, a detail shared by his close friend Anupam Kher. Kher disclosed this information in a video tribute following the release of the first part of 'Dhurandhar.'

This revelation adds a poignant layer to the film's release, with Satish Kaushik's wife, Shashi Kaushik, and nephew, Nishant Kaushik, being acknowledged in the 'Special Thanks' section. The 'Dhurandhar' sequel picks up the story from 'Dhurandhar (2025),' which depicted an Indian protagonist's mission within Pakistan's political and military systems. The sequel delves deeper into the character's past experiences prior to his entry into Pakistan.
