Supernatural Curse Unleashed: 'Satan: The Dark' on OTT

The supernatural thriller 'Satan: The Dark' is set to debut on Prime Video on May 8, 2026, approximately six weeks after its theatrical release on March 27, 2026. The film navigates a dual timeline, recounting a disastrous ritualistic sorcery event from the East India Company era in Hasthinapuram that unleashed a malevolent entity. In contemporary times, the narrative focuses on Marcelin, portrayed by Mona Bedre, whose disturbing transformation under a mysterious supernatural influence threatens her young daughter, Alisha (Ayraa Palak). Directed and written by Manikandan Ramalingam, the movie features FJ, Ayraa, Chandini Tamilarasan, Mona Bedre, and Sreeja Ravi. The story centers on desperate attempts to save Alisha from the curse. Technically, Bala G Ramasamy handled cinematography, with music by Aswin Krishna and editing by Rajkumar and Kovai Abishek DFT. Surendran Selvaraj was the art director, and Danger Mani managed action choreography.
