Sarah Paulson is taking on the chilling role of serial killer Aileen Wuornos in the upcoming fourth season of Ryan Murphy's anthology series, 'Monster'. First-look images from the Los Angeles set show Paulson dramatically transformed, appearing almost unrecognizable with dyed hair and dressed in casual attire. This marks the first time Paulson will embody the infamous figure.

Aileen Wuornos's violent spree occurred between 1989 and 1990, during which she murdered seven men in Florida while working as a street prostitute. Her crimes led to her conviction and a death sentence, with her execution by lethal injection taking place in October 2022.

Wuornos's story has captivated audiences before, notably through Charlize Theron's Academy Award-winning portrayal in the 2003 biopic 'Monster' and the Netflix documentary 'Aileen: Queen of the Serial Killers'. It remains to be seen how her narrative will be interwoven into a season primarily focusing on Lizzie Borden.
