Sara Arjun Defends Age Gap with Ranveer Singh

Actress Sara Arjun has broken her silence regarding the casting controversy for the film 'Dhurandhar,' specifically addressing the public discourse around the 20-year age difference between herself and co-star Ranveer Singh. Arjun affirmed that she always believed her role was deserved and perfectly suited the narrative's context.

Speaking in an interview, Arjun mentioned that while she is not very active on social media, she respects everyone's right to an opinion. She emphasized her belief in 'live and let live' and stated that external opinions did not influence her perspective on the film's casting. She also lauded Ranveer Singh, calling him an unparalleled co-star who fosters a collaborative and supportive environment on set.

'Dhurandhar,' directed by Aditya Dhar, has achieved significant box office success since its release on December 5, 2025. The action-packed spy thriller emerged as last year's highest-grossing film, with global earnings exceeding Rs 1300 crore. The film features Ranveer Singh in the lead role as an Indian agent infiltrating Pakistan's Lyari gangs, alongside a cast including Akshaye Khanna, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun Rampal, and R. Madhavan. A sequel is anticipated to be released on March 19, 2026.
