Cricketer Sanju Samson's Grand 'Jailer 2' Screening

Cricketer Sanju Samson recently arranged a special private screening of Rajinikanth's action-thriller 'Jailer 2' for his family, friends, and colleagues. Samson, an ardent fan of Rajinikanth, expressed his disappointment at missing the film's initial release due to a professional commitment in Delhi. He was fortunate to book out an entire theatre for a personal viewing.

Samson invited teammates and support staff who understand Tamil to join his exclusive screening. The film, directed by Nelson Dilipkumar, continues the story of Tiger Muthuvel Pandian, reprised by Rajinikanth. It features a star-studded cast including Ramya Krishnan, Yogi Babu, SJ Suryah, and Vidya Balan, with surprise appearances.

'Jailer 2' has performed exceptionally well at the box office. As of October 20, 2026, the film recorded Rs 45.55 crore in domestic earnings on its sixth day. This marked an increase from the previous day's collection. The movie's worldwide gross has now surged to an impressive Rs 541 crore.
