Sanjay Dutt's Dhurandhar Role Stuns Late Officer's Wife

Sanjay Dutt's portrayal of the late Karachi police officer Chaudhary Aslam Khan in Aditya Dhar's recently released film, 'Dhurandhar: The Revenge,' has captivated audiences and drawn strong reactions. His performance has been so impactful that Chaudhary Aslam Khan's wife, Naureen, found herself deeply moved, remarking that Dutt's presence near a car in one scene evoked her husband's spirit.

Naureen expressed her approval of Dutt's casting and his portrayal of her husband. However, she also voiced reservations, suggesting that the filmmakers could have benefited from consulting her, other police officers, or journalists to gain a more comprehensive understanding of Chaudhary Aslam Khan's character, encompassing both his strengths and weaknesses. She emphasized his unique ability to accomplish tasks others could not.

The film's narrative also touches upon the tragic circumstances of Chaudhary Aslam Khan's death. Naureen recounted her husband's final moments, recalling her attempt to dissuade him from undertaking a dangerous mission due to the lack of a bomb-proof vehicle. Despite her pleas, he proceeded, and Naureen later learned of the devastating blast that claimed his life.
