Dutt's Jailhouse Resolve: 'Never Considered Ending My Life'

Sanjay Dutt recounted his experiences during his arrest and jail time for illegal arms possession, revealing how he maintained his composure. In a recent talk show appearance, Dutt stated he never contemplated suicide, even when placed in isolation cells. He recalled the moment he was first handcuffed, prioritizing strength for his father, veteran actor Sunil Dutt, despite the profound personal pain. This trial spanned 24 years, during which Dutt navigated numerous hardships, including personal losses and a cancer battle.

Dutt also reflected on his ability to remain grounded, crediting his parents and his education at The Lawrence School, Sanawar. He shared instances of eating meals with film crews and workers, unaffected by the absence of the privileges his stardom usually afforded him. Authorities were reportedly taken aback by his resilience, as he remained unfazed even when denied comforts like cigarettes in prison. His career continues with recent releases like 'Welcome To The Jungle' and the upcoming political drama 'Aakhri Sawal'.
