The Telugu film 'Antha Ramuloru Choosukuntaru,' starring Sangeeth Shoban and Anaswara Rajan, has officially launched. The makers revealed the title via a video teaser at the film's unveiling event. This new project is set against the backdrop of the Godavari region, with principal photography conducted near Rajahmundry and Konaseema.
Sangeeth Shoban takes on the role of Maruthi, a character who embodies a deep-seated belief that "Ramuloru will take care of everything." The actor shared that the film offers more than a typical love story, promising a feel-good experience rich with emotional complexity. He noted that his character, Maruthi, is designed to evoke a range of audience reactions, from laughter to empathy and even frustration.
Anaswara Rajan portrays Shirisha, and director Palnati Surya Pratap emphasized the natural chemistry between the lead actors. Producer Dheeraj Mogilineni revealed that securing Anaswara for the role involved a six-month pursuit, as she was considered the only suitable choice for Shirisha. The film's title was carefully chosen for its conceptual significance.
For Sangeeth Shoban, this film represents a conscious departure from his recent roles, particularly moving away from the Telangana dialect featured in films like 'MAD' and 'Raakaasa.' He cited the Godavari setting and the character's emotional depth as key factors in his decision to join the project. Shooting is currently in progress, with some portions yet to be filmed.
