Lyricist Sameer Recalls Funny David Dhawan Jab

Sameer's work with them includes songs for films like 'Aaina' and the 'Dhoom' series.

Sameer also spoke about his experience working with Karan Johar on films such as 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' and 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham'. He revealed that the music directors Jatin-Lalit almost quit 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham' due to pressure but were encouraged by Sameer to follow Johar's vision.

A humorous anecdote involved David Dhawan, who famously told Sameer a song for 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai' was 'terrible'. This song, however, became a blockbuster, as did the songs Sameer wrote for Dhawan's film 'Bade Miyan Chote Miyan', both released on the same day.
