Actor Sambhaji Sasane: Fear Fuels His Acting Choices

Actor Sambhaji Sasane has established a presence in Hindi and Marathi films, with notable roles in "Love & Shukla," "Rubaab," and the thriller "Bol Bol Rani." His upcoming films, "Rakhan" and "Madhuran," continue his trend of selecting projects based on narrative strength rather than the length of his roles.

Sasane is particularly attracted to characters with internal conflicts and complexities, stating that the script's overall story is his primary motivation. He believes that even minor roles can have significant impact, recalling a small part that deeply moved a veteran theater actor.

He finds fascination in portraying flawed individuals, viewing their contradictions as the most authentic representation of human nature. For Sasane, fear and discomfort in a role are not deterrents but rather invitations to explore challenging performances.

Looking forward, Sasane aims to portray the lives of often-overlooked ordinary people, drawing inspiration from his own father, a tailor. He aspires to play characters like tailors, auto drivers, and hawkers, whom he sees as the real-life superheroes.
