Samay Raina Calls Pal's Offer 'Fake News'

Comedian Samay Raina has publicly dismissed Sunil Pal's assertion of declining a Rs 25 lakh offer to appear on "India's Got Latent" as "fake news." Raina shared his disbelief on social media, questioning the validity of the alleged offer.

Pal had previously told the paparazzi that he refused the sum because he did not want to be associated with the show's perceived use of abusive language. He claimed that the show's representatives had communicated the offer and its nature to him.

This exchange reignites the public feud between Raina and Pal, which began following the 2025 "India's Got Latent" controversy. Remarks made by Ranveer Allahbadia on the show led to nationwide outrage and FIRs, prompting Raina to remove episodes. Pal was a vocal critic then, urging Raina to adopt clean comedy and labeling both him and Allahbadia as "terrorists."

Raina addressed this criticism in his stand-up special "Still Alive," questioning Kapil Sharma's own interest in the show and calling Pal "insecure." The comedians later appeared together on "The Great Indian Kapil Show," where Raina roasted Pal. Most recently, Raina made a joke about Pal's oral hygiene, which Pal countered with a video questioning Raina's own language.

Meanwhile, "India's Got Latent" Season 2 has premiered, featuring Alia Bhatt and Sharvari in its first episode and Haarsh Limbachiyaa, Kiku Sharda, and Chandan Prabhakar in the second. The show is available on YouTube and Netflix.
