Salman Khan Slashes Fees for New Action Film

Salman Khan has reportedly agreed to a substantial reduction in his remuneration for the upcoming action entertainer SVC63, directed by Vamshi Paidipally. Sources indicate the superstar will charge approximately Rs 70 crore, a notable decrease from his usual fee exceeding Rs 120 crore. This decision is reportedly influenced by his long-standing friendship with producer Rafi Kazi, who is said to be a mediator on the project and will be credited as one of its producers.

While details regarding a profit-sharing agreement or backend deal remain unconfirmed, Khan has a history of preferring projects where he holds a stake. Since 'Dabangg' in 2010, most of his films have been produced under his family banner, Salman Khan Films, or by relatives. Even when working with external producers, he has often secured a share in film rights or opted for OTT and satellite rights, which have historically fetched between Rs 120 crore and Rs 140 crore. SVC63 is slated for an Eid 2027 release.

This reported fee adjustment follows a pattern of Salman Khan supporting friends, having previously done cameos without charge. He is also working on 'Maatrubhumi' and is in discussions for a project with Raj & DK.
