Salman Khan Sends Legal Notice Over 'Kala Hiran' Film

Bollywood superstar Salman Khan has initiated legal action against the creators of the upcoming film 'Kala Hiran.' The movie draws inspiration from the infamous 1998 black buck poaching incident involving Khan. In a legal notice, the actor's representatives cited a "gross violation of personality rights" and demanded that the film's release and promotional activities be immediately halted. The legal team highlighted that the black buck case remains under consideration by the Rajasthan High Court, deeming the film "defamatory" and an interference with the administration of justice. Salman Khan has explicitly stated he has not granted permission for his name or likeness to be used in the project. The notice also calls for an unconditional written apology from the filmmakers. Failure to comply within 24 hours of receiving the notice will compel Khan to pursue further civil and criminal legal proceedings.
