As of September 28th, 2025, the ongoing feud between Bollywood actor Salman Khan and director Abhinav Kashyap continues to make headlines. During a recent episode of the reality show Bigg Boss 19, Salman Khan addressed Kashyap's accusations, without directly naming the director.
Salman stated that "people are just sitting and making any sort of claims" about him, referring to Kashyap's past comments. The actor noted that he and Kashyap had worked together in the past and the director had even praised him, but now "they don't quite like me anymore" and make "all made-up things, which are all lies."
Salman went on to offer some advice, saying, "There is nothing better than work. No matter how you are feeling, what you are going through, you have to get up, take a shower, and land up at a job." This was seen as a direct message to Kashyap, who had accused Salman of not being interested in acting and being more focused on the "power of being a celebrity."
The feud between the two dates back to 2020, when Kashyap had accused Salman, his brothers Arbaaz and Sohail, and their father Salim Khan of trying to derail his career. Salman had chosen not to name Kashyap in his interviews at the time, but the director has continued to take shots at the actor every now and then.
