Viral sensation Salish Matter is launching her first-ever holiday-themed Netflix show, "Salish's 12 Games of Christmas," set to premiere on November 28. The 16-year-old creator will be joined by seven of her closest friends as they navigate festive challenges for a chance to win numerous Christmas presents. Her father, Jordan Matter, known for his popular YouTube channel, will host the special.
Filming the Netflix production felt like a familiar yet elevated experience for the father-daughter duo, who have been making videos together for six years. Jordan Matter, 59, views their continued collaboration as a precious opportunity to create lasting family memories. The holiday theme resonates deeply with them, as they describe the holiday season as their favorite time of year, often spent skiing in Colorado and visiting family in Baltimore.
This game show represents a significant step for Salish, who gained internet fame through her father's channel. Now boasting millions of followers, she earned a Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Female Creator in 2025. The special, filmed in a cozy cabin retreat setting, features friends competing to identify an impostor among them, adding an element of mystery to the holiday fun.
