In a recent appearance on a streaming chat show, Bollywood actor Saif Ali Khan recounted a terrifying knife attack that took place at his Bandra home earlier this year. According to Saif, the incident occurred after he had finished watching a movie with his sons Taimur and Jeh.
As Saif and his wife Kareena were about to go to sleep, their maid informed them that there was an intruder in Jeh's room, wielding a knife and demanding money. Saif immediately rushed to Jeh's room and confronted the attacker, leading to a violent struggle. During the altercation, the attacker slashed Saif repeatedly with two knives, also injuring Jeh and their nanny in the process.
Saif's older son Taimur, who witnessed the attack, feared his father might not survive. However, Saif managed to fight off the intruder with the help of their domestic help, Gita, who ultimately saved his life. The attacker was then locked in a room until the authorities arrived.
While Saif sustained multiple cuts and injuries, he is thankful that the situation did not turn out worse, especially for his young son Jeh, who was also caught in the crossfire.
