Sadhguru's Shiva Animated Film Hits Big Screen

Sadhguru announced an animated film titled 'Shiva - The Adiyogi' on August 24. This collaboration with Graphic India aims to explore Shiva's significance as the Adiyogi, the first yogi and guru in yogic lore. The film will draw from Sadhguru's narration of yogic traditions.

The animated feature is being developed for a global theatrical release, emphasizing its roots in India's spiritual heritage. Sharad Devarajan is producing, co-creating, and writing the film, bringing experience from projects like 'The Legend of Hanuman.'

Sadhguru views Shiva not as a deity but as the ultimate outlaw who taught liberation from limitations. The film is currently in development, with an expected worldwide cinema release in 2027. It seeks to introduce Adiyogi's story to a broader audience.
