5 Oct
Summary
- Sabrina Carpenter welcomed Shania Twain on stage for a duet
- The duo performed Twain's hit "That Don't Impress Me Much"
- Carpenter called it a "little gift" to fans at the Austin City Limits festival

On October 5, 2025, singer Sabrina Carpenter delivered a special treat to her fans during her headlining set at the Austin City Limits festival. Midway through her performance, Carpenter announced that she had a "little gift" for the audience, and proceeded to welcome country music superstar Shania Twain to the stage.
The two artists then launched into a duet of Twain's iconic 1998 single "That Don't Impress Me Much." Carpenter had previously covered the song during her Short n' Sweet Tour, and the live collaboration with Twain was clearly a highlight for the enthusiastic crowd. "Awesome. Shania Twain! Make some fucking noise," Carpenter exclaimed after the performance.
This was not the first time Carpenter and Twain had joined forces. In December 2024, the two singers had teamed up for an acoustic rendition of "Santa Baby" in Carpenter's Netflix special A Nonsense Christmas, with Twain playing the role of Mrs. Claus.
Carpenter is set to return to the Austin City Limits festival next Saturday for her second headlining show. Prior to that, she will make her debut at the prestigious Grand Ole Opry on October 7.
