A judge has ordered William Applegate to remain at least 100 yards away from pop star Sabrina Carpenter and her family for five years. The ruling came after Applegate repeatedly attempted to enter Carpenter's Los Angeles home.
Applegate's actions, which reportedly involved over a dozen attempts to access her residence, were met with a restraining order by Judge David Wasserman. Court records reveal Applegate claimed he and Carpenter were central to a classified military-government program essential for national and global security. He asserted they needed to be together immediately.
Carpenter, however, described Applegate as a complete stranger, expressing fear over his "dangerous, delusional and irrational fixation." She detailed how his persistent stalking, trespassing, and surveillance have caused her severe and ongoing emotional distress. Applegate appeared in court without legal representation.
Sabrina Carpenter, known for her role in "Girl Meets World," achieved significant pop stardom with her 2024 album "Short n' Sweet." The album featured hit songs like "Espresso" and "Please Please Please." She has also received Grammy recognition for her work, including nominations and awards.
