Reynolds Backs Lively Amid Legal Turmoil

Ryan Reynolds has publicly expressed his strong support for his wife, Blake Lively, during her legal dispute with "It Ends with Us" director Justin Baldoni. The actor conveyed that he has "never been more proud" of Lively's integrity throughout the challenging situation. The lawsuit, initiated by Lively in December 2024, seeks more than $160 million in damages, alleging sexual harassment and a retaliatory smear campaign by Baldoni and other defendants.

Baldoni has denied Lively's allegations and filed a countersuit, which was subsequently dismissed. While most of Lively's claims against Baldoni were dismissed on April 2, her allegations concerning a retaliatory smear campaign will proceed to trial. This trial is scheduled to commence on May 18 in New York. A source close to Lively described the legal proceedings as emotionally taxing but affirmed her determination and focus.
