Ryan Reynolds made a surprise appearance at Marvel Studios' Comic-Con panel, clad in a denim Deadpool costume. He humorously referred to himself as 'Jeanpool' and engaged with the Avengers: Doomsday cast. Reynolds queried Paul Rudd about Thor's emotional state, referencing a scene from Deadpool & Wolverine, and also asked about the filming status of Avengers: Doomsday.
While Reynolds' presence at Comic-Con has fueled rumors of his involvement in the upcoming December release, he has previously stated he had not yet been on set. The actor did, however, confirm in July 2026 that another Deadpool film is remotely possible and is expected to be great.
The panel also featured announcements regarding other Marvel projects, including Ryan Gosling's upcoming Ghost Rider movie and a new Black Panther film introducing Prince T'Challa II.
