Actress's Hidden 5-Year Romance with Prince Edward

Actress Ruthie Henshall shared details of her previously undisclosed five-year relationship with Prince Edward, which began in 1988. She first encountered the Prince, then 23, backstage at the musical Cats, where he was working as a production assistant. Prince Edward, who had recently left the Royal Marines, introduced himself humorously as 'the runt of the litter.'

Henshall found the Prince attractive and enjoyed their initial interactions. Their friendship deepened when she worked on an adaptation of 'A Star is Born,' with the Prince accompanying her to rehearsals. This led to an invitation to Buckingham Palace, marking the start of their private romance.
