On October 25, 2025, veteran actor Satish Shah passed away due to kidney failure. Two days later, on October 27, 2025, his prayer meet was held, and several close friends and colleagues from the industry gathered to pay tribute to the late actor.
During the prayer meet, a touching moment was captured on camera when Anupamaa star Rupali Ganguly approached the paparazzi with folded hands and teary eyes, requesting them to stop filming Satish's wife, Madhu Shah, who is battling Alzheimer's. Rupali's heartfelt gesture was widely praised by fans.
