Summary
- Kate Middleton and her three children visited Harry Potter TV series set
- Prince Louis, 7, got to ride the Hogwarts Express, his "dream"
- Royal family enjoys Harry Potter franchise, including books and films

In a magical moment last month, the Princess of Wales and her three children - Prince George, 12, Princess Charlotte, 10, and Prince Louis, 7 - visited the set of the upcoming Harry Potter television series. According to an insider, the royal visit was "so special" for the family, who met the young actors and the director of the show.
The highlight of the visit was for Prince Louis, who the source said "seemed to absolutely love" getting to ride the iconic Hogwarts Express. "It's the dream for most children to step aboard the Hogwarts Express," the insider shared, highlighting the young royal's excitement.
The royal family's affinity for the Harry Potter franchise extends beyond this recent set visit. Both the late Queen Camilla and King Charles, 76, have enjoyed reading the beloved book series to Kate and William's children. Camilla even admitted on her podcast that while she struggles with mimicry, her husband "can do all the voices" when reading the books aloud.
This isn't the first time the royals have engaged with the wizarding world. Back in 2013, when Kate was pregnant with Prince George, she and Prince William visited the Warner Bros. Studio Tour in London, where they had a wand duel and explored Diagon Alley with Prince Harry.
The highly anticipated Harry Potter television series is currently in production for HBO and is expected to premiere in early 2027, bringing the beloved franchise to life on the small screen.
