Roundabout Announces Bold Broadway Season
16 Apr
Summary
- Moliere's 'The Imaginary Invalid' to be revived in fall.
- Dominique Morriseau's 'Mix and Master' to debut in winter 2027.
- The musical 'The Full Monty' is scheduled for spring 2027.

Roundabout Theatre Company is set to present a diverse Broadway season, balancing classic revivals with new works.
In the fall, audiences can expect a reimagined production of Moliere's "The Imaginary Invalid," a 17th-century comedy focusing on hypochondria, under the direction of Brandon Dirden.
Winter 2027 will feature the premiere of "Mix and Master," a new play by Dominique Morriseau. Set in the Bronx's final record shop, the two-character drama explores generational conflicts between DJs, directed by Kamilah Forbes and starring Ruben Santiago-Hudson and Kara Young.
The season will conclude in spring 2027 with a revival of the popular musical "The Full Monty," directed by Leigh Silverman, which follows unemployed steelworkers forming a male revue.
This season marks a transition for Roundabout, following the passing of longtime leader Todd Haimes in April 2023. Christopher Ashley is set to assume the role of permanent director on July 1, with interim director Scott Ellis remaining until then. Both have collaborated on shaping this upcoming season.
