Rosie O'Donnell will soon grace the Broadway stage, taking on the role of the Narrator in "The Rocky Horror Show." She is scheduled to begin her nearly two-week stint on October 6th, stepping in for Tony nominee Rachel Dratch, who will be on a brief hiatus. Dratch is expected to return to the production on October 20th.
This new theatrical venture comes after O'Donnell's successful run in her one-woman show, "Common Knowledge," which concluded in August. Earlier in the fall, she also garnered praise for guest hosting "Jimmy Kimmel Live" for four nights. O'Donnell's extensive history in musical theater includes a Broadway debut in "Grease" in 1994 and appearances in "Seussical" and "Fiddler on the Roof."
