In the lead-up to her fourth studio album "Lux," due on November 7th, 2025, Spanish singer Rosalía is making waves with her orchestral new single "Berghain." Contrary to her Grammy-winning "Motomami" album, "Lux" is set to feature Rosalía singing in 13 different languages and is broken up into four distinct movements.
The physical versions of the album will include 18 songs, while the digital versions will have 15. Rosalía has enlisted an impressive array of collaborators for "Lux," including Icelandic artist Björk, Spanish singer Silvia Pérez Cruz, Portuguese singer Carminho, Flamenco singer Estrella Morente, and Mexican singer-songwriter Yahritza. The renowned boys choir Escolania de Montserrat i Cor Cambra Palau de la Música Catalana are also listed as contributors.
In a recent interview, Rosalía revealed that she was simultaneously filming scenes for the upcoming season of HBO's hit series "Euphoria" while translating, rewriting, and composing lyrics for her ambitious new record. The artist admitted that the dual workload was a "challenge" and that she nearly had a "mental breakdown" at times, but ultimately persevered, telling herself "if somebody can do it, that's you."
