The season finale of The Rookie left viewers on a cliffhanger with the kidnapping of Sergeants Lucy Chen and Tim Bradford. The couple, affectionately known as #Chenford, had just shared a successful proposal on the beach, only for their celebration to be interrupted.
Two individuals, identified as henchmen hired by criminal Heath Everett, administered tranquilizer injections to Lucy and Tim. This unexpected turn of events has put their wedding plans on hold as they face this new predicament.
