Singer Ronan Keating is returning to his roots in a new television series, "Ronan Keating's Wild Atlantic." This series follows his personal journey along the west coast of Ireland, exploring his childhood and family history. The show will air on BBC Northern Ireland and BBC iPlayer starting March 16, 2026, and on BBC Two from April 6, 2026.
Keating's adventure begins in County Cork, where he tries road bowling with his nephew. He then travels to County Kerry for hurling and fishing with his brother. In Mayo and Sligo, he joins Westlife's Shane Filan for horse riding and visits Clare Island. His motorbike journey continues north along the coast with artist Terry Bradley, leading to an impromptu performance in Donegal.
The final stop is Derry, where he explores the city walls and learns about competitive sheepherding. Keating expressed that making the series was special, allowing him to revisit meaningful places and see parts of the west coast he missed after leaving Ireland at 16.
