28 Sep
Summary
- Roman Reigns is scheduled to defend his title at Money in the Bank 2026.
- LA Knight is set to speak about his challenge on tonight's RAW.
- Dolph Ziggler believes LA Knight should win the championship.
Roman Reigns is expected to defend his WWE World Heavyweight Championship for the fifth time against LA Knight at the upcoming Money in the Bank 2026 event. Reigns recently made his fourth defense in Mexico City, following a tournament won by his opponent.
Despite the looming title match, Reigns is not currently advertised for the September 28 episode of Monday Night RAW, which is scheduled to take place in Milwaukee. While LA Knight is confirmed to speak about his championship challenge on the show, reports indicate Reigns will likely miss this event.
However, Reigns is slated to appear on the go-home edition of RAW preceding Money in the Bank, which is scheduled for next week. The creative direction for Reigns' title reign and future matchups remains a topic of interest within WWE.
In related commentary, former WWE superstar Dolph Ziggler, also known as Nic Nemeth, shared his perspective in an interview. He stated that he believes LA Knight should eventually win the World Heavyweight Championship from Roman Reigns at an opportune moment. Ziggler referenced past instances where similar opportunities arose for other wrestlers, emphasizing the significance of timing for a potential dethroning.
