- The Rolling Stones are considering a residency instead of touring.
The Rolling Stones have released a cinematic music video for their song "Mr. Charm," starring Alexander Skarsgård. Shot in Palmdale, California, the video depicts Skarsgård's character charming patrons at a desert motel, with model Sara Sampaio as the sole exception to his allure.
Alongside the video, the band shared "Bad Luck Hideaway," a previously unheard track. This song features drums recorded by the late Charlie Watts and is a duet between Mick Jagger and Keith Richards, produced by Andrew Watt.
The releases are tied to the band's recent LP, "Foreign Tongues," which came out in July. "Mr. Charm" follows other videos from the album that have featured actors like Anya Taylor-Joy and Charles Melton.
Future plans for the band may include a residency in cities like London or New York, rather than a traditional global tour. Mick Jagger and Keith Richards have both indicated interest in this alternative format, aiming to "bring the road to us."
