Rolling Loud Founder Offers Millions to Drake, But Fails to Secure Headliner

According to Rolling Loud co-founder Tariq Cherif, the popular hip-hop festival has been trying to book Drake as a headliner for years, but the rapper has consistently turned down their "max offer" of millions of dollars. Cherif revealed this information during a recent livestream with Adin Ross and DJ Akademiks.

Despite Drake's absence, Cherif emphasized that Kanye West, the artist formerly known as Ye, is always welcome at Rolling Loud. "That's my guy," Cherif said. "I love Ye. Don't let anybody tell you different. I love Ye, always. Whenever he wants to come, he's welcome." Ye was previously set to headline the festival's Miami edition in 2022 but pulled out at the last minute.

In other news, Rolling Loud is set to debut its first festival in Mumbai, India this weekend. The international hip-hop festival, which already has editions in California, Florida, and Thailand, will feature headliners such as Central Cee, Wiz Khalifa, Karan Aujla, and Don Toliver. "We never imagined Rolling Loud would take us all the way to India -- it's incredible," the festival's co-founders and co-CEOs, Matt Zingler and Tariq Cherif, said in a joint statement.
