Rod Stewart Undergoes Stent Surgery, Cancels Tour Dates

Rock icon Rod Stewart, 81, has halted his current tour following a successful coronary stent procedure. A representative confirmed that doctors are pleased with his recovery, and Stewart is now back to his usual routines.

He is advised to rest for four weeks to regain full fitness before resuming performances. This means all scheduled tour dates through September 3, including six Las Vegas residency shows, have been canceled.

Stewart expressed his disappointment in missing the shows and apologized to fans, stating he is already feeling better and looking forward to their next meeting. This health update comes shortly after a show in Cincinnati was postponed due to a minor, unexpected medical procedure.

Earlier this year, Stewart also canceled concert dates in June due to laryngitis and vocal strain but remains committed to his music career, having released his latest album, Swing Fever, in 2024.
