GMA Anchor Robin Roberts to Receive ESPY Award

Robin Roberts, a prominent anchor on "Good Morning America," is set to receive the Arthur Ashe Courage Award at this summer's ESPY awards. The award specifically acknowledges her inspiring journey and engagement with viewers while navigating significant health challenges. Roberts previously battled breast cancer in 2007 and underwent a bone marrow transplant last year to treat a rare blood disorder. Her return to "Good Morning America" last month marked a significant personal triumph.

Prior to her role at ABC, Roberts forged a pioneering career at ESPN, becoming the network's first black female sportscaster.
