In a heartwarming display, acclaimed actor Robert Downey Jr. took to Instagram on November 4, 2025, to commemorate the birthdays of his wife Susan and their 11-year-old daughter Avri. The Avengers star, who tied the knot with Susan in 2005, shared a rare snapshot of the two Scorpio girls, praising them in the caption.
Downey Jr., now 60 years old, is a proud father of three children. In addition to his daughter Avri, he has two sons - Indio, 32, and Exton, 13. While the actor doesn't often share photos of his kids, he has occasionally given fans a glimpse into his family life.
In 2022, Downey Jr. posted a funny video of Exton and Avri helping him prepare for his role in The Sympathizer by shaving his head. More recently, in 2023, all three of Downey Jr.'s children appeared in his series Downey's Dream Cars, which the actor described as a "blast." Indio, the eldest, even wrote an episode for the show.

As Downey Jr. reflected on his journey through fatherhood, he acknowledged the joys of being a dad at a "little bit older" age. "It's nice to really be able to show up because life now is I'm either working or I'm with him," the Golden Globe winner shared in a 2014 interview.
