Summary
- Alan Ritchson's 'War Machine' drew 7 million households in its first three days.
- Netflix's 'The Rip' remains the year's top streaming film with 11.3 million households.
- 'Marshals,' a Yellowstone spinoff, leads the linear TV chart.

Alan Ritchson's new action film, "War Machine," has captured the leading position on Samba TV's weekly streaming chart. The movie, which centers on a U.S. Army Ranger training exercise with a science fiction twist, was watched by 7 million households in its initial three days of release.
This marks another significant action film success for Netflix this year, following "The Rip." The corrupt cop thriller, starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck, drew 11.3 million households in its first three days, establishing it as the year's top streaming movie to date.
In its debut week, "War Machine" pushed "The Pitt" on HBO Max to second place for the third consecutive week. "Bridgerton," last week's chart-topper, has now fallen to third. Other notable streaming entries include HBO Max's new black comedy "DTF St. Louis" at fourth place and Netflix's "Jurassic World: Rebirth" at fifth, benefiting from a new licensing deal.
Netflix continues to dominate the lower half of the streaming chart with "Trap House" in seventh place. Popular shows like "Love is Blind" and "The Night Agent" saw declines, landing at eighth and ninth, respectively. Hulu's post-apocalyptic thriller "Paradise" closed out the streaming chart at tenth.
On linear television, "Marshals," a spinoff of the "Yellowstone" franchise, maintained its first-place position for another week. "Tracker" followed in third place, with NBC's "Chicago" trio "Chicago Fire," "Chicago Med," and "Chicago P.D." filling out the subsequent spots. "Wheel of Fortune" occupied the final four positions on the linear chart.
