For the first time, applications were open to actors from Iceland and Norway, drawing over 200 submissions. The selected artists represent a wide array of genres, including Sámi-language drama, Baltic cinema, and international streaming productions. Their work showcases diverse talent valuable to the global film industry.
In Tallinn, these up-and-coming actors will engage with international casting directors, talent agents, producers, and directors. Through workshops and discussions, they aim to enhance their skills and secure new opportunities within the international film market.
An international jury, comprised of casting directors from Sweden, Germany, Norway, Denmark, and the U.S., alongside talent agents from the Netherlands and the UK, meticulously selected the participants. The selected talent will receive the Black Nights Stars Discovery Campus ICDA Award.
