- Incident occurred a day after canceling previous show

In a concerning incident at a New York City music festival, rising singer Lola Young collapsed on stage during her performance on September 27, 2025. The 24-year-old south London artist was in the middle of her set at the All Things Go festival in Queens when she suddenly fell backwards while singing her 2023 single "Conceited."
Young had appeared flushed and emotional throughout her set, powering through four songs from her new album before the incident occurred. Her band, team, and security quickly rushed to surround the singer, who was down for about 30-45 seconds before being carried off stage.
The collapse came a day after Young's Friday night gig at the Audacy's We Can Survive concert in New Jersey was canceled by her team "due to a sensitive matter." In an Instagram post, her manager had said Young is "very open about her mental health" and that "there are very occasionally days where myself and my team have to take protective measures to keep her safe."
Prior to the collapse, Young had addressed the crowd, saying, "Today I woke up and I made the decision to come here. I wanted to be, I wanted to perform, and I didn't want to wallow in my sadness. Sometimes life can throw you lemons and you just gotta motherf--ing make lemonade ... I really appreciate everyone who's here tonight."
The incident left the audience in shock, with the crowd clapping as Young was helped off stage. A hyperpop song then played in the stadium after her exit.
