The makers of Nagabandham have unveiled the first look of actor Rishabh Sawhney, who portrays the historical antagonist Afghan Sultan Abdali. This pan-India mythological action drama, directed by Abhishek Nama, is slated for a summer release.
The film is set in 1750 and presents a fictionalized account of Sultan Abdali's invasions of India, depicting him as a character driven by ambition and a quest for wealth, specifically seeking the mythical Naga Bandham hidden in the Himalayas.
Rishabh Sawhney, recently seen in Fighter, described the role as challenging and aimed to reflect the character's complexities. The first look poster shows Sawhney on a grand battlefield, surrounded by an advancing army.
